Craft-Bamboo Racing ready to take on its first race in America

A few weeks ago, Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing announced its return to racing with confirmed entry to the second round of the 2021 Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli at the Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS. The highly anticipated racing action will get underway on Friday, where the #99 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time in the official Free Practice session.

Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing will feature a full Mercedes-AMG factory driver line-up with Luca Stolz (GER), Jules Gounon (FRA) and Maro Engel (GER).

The weekend in Indiana is gearing up to be a fascinating race with the largest-ever entry of 41 cars for an Intercontinental GT Challenge round in North America. For Craft-Bamboo Racing this is the first IGTC appearance outside of the Asia-Pacific.
